Cleopatra

English Raspberry & Rose Cake

Cleopatra used the rose to entice Mark Antony. The Egyptian queen covered the floor of her palace in a thick, sultry layer of fresh rose petals. Over half a metre deep.

While the sails of her royal barge were soaked in rose water. It worked; Mark Anthony fell for the Egyptian temptress. Or did he fall for the rose?

Our delicately decorated raspberry and rose cake is sure to bring you more than a few admirers. Its fresh raspberry sponge is perfectly complimented by subtle, rose buttercream.

While the inviting icing is graced with edible candy pink rose petals and a sprinkle of freeze-dried raspberries.

Perfect for any occasion. Whether you’re trying to seduce a Roman Consul or not.
