Anemone takes its name from "anemos", the greek word for wind. Fitting for a cake with enough bluster in its striking rose pink sails to make you feel like you’re floating on cloud nine.
The flower’s black stamens add just the right amount of drama to this delicately crafted cake, while its mint green leaves lighten the mood.
The perfect accompaniment to a stormy afternoon’s cup of tea.
Our Anemone cake is available in flavour variations (the outer icing will be as pictured), and colour options. Choose your flavour, colour and size below.
*Delivery available Mon to Fri only. Buttercream iced cakes with sugar flower decorations should not be stored in the fridge. They will be fine to consume / for an event on Sat or Sun.
All of our Botanical Collection cakes have 4 layers of sponge and 3 layers of filling per tier. Each cake is elegantly buttercream iced and decorated with fresh flowers.
Vanilla – Mauritian vanilla sponge with vanilla Swiss meringue buttercream and English raspberry conserve
Belgian Chocolate – rich Belgian chocolate sponge with Belgian chocolate Swiss meringue buttercream
Lemon – zesty lemon sponge with a lemon Swiss meringue buttercream and Sicilian lemon curd
Salted Caramel – indulgent caramel sponge filled with salted caramel Swiss meringue buttercream and a layer of salted caramel
Red Velvet – red velvet sponge with Mauritian vanilla Swiss meringue buttercream
Vegan Chocolate & Coconut (only available for vegan options) – vegan chocolate sponge filled with vegan coconut buttercream
Vegan Lemon & Blueberry (only available for vegan options) – Lemon and blueberry sponge layered with a vegan lemon buttercream
Vegan Vanilla & Raspberry (only available for vegan designs) – Mauritian vanilla sponge with vegan vanilla buttercream and English raspberry jam

This single tier cake comes in two sizes.
A 6” cake serves 14 x Party Portions OR 10 x Large Portions
An 8” cake serves 26 x Party Portions OR 14 x Large Portions
Party Portions are cut in rectangular slices. Large Portions are cut in wedges.

Standard Flavours: All our standard flavours contain wheat flour (gluten), eggs and milk, and may contain soya and sulphites. All our products are made in a kitchen that handles nuts.
Vegan Flavours: Contains wheat flour (gluten), soya and may contain sulphites. Do not contain dairy or egg products.
Wheat Free Flavours: May This product may contain traces of gluten. It is NOT suitable for people with coeliac disease as it is made in a kitchen also handling wheat.
Please be aware that all of our products are made in a kitchen which handles wheat flour (gluten), dairy, eggs, soya and nuts. While we try to limit any cross contamination, there is a risk a product may have come into contact with one of these allergens. NON-EDIBLE DECORATIONS
Some cakes in this collection are decorated with fresh flowers. Fresh flowers are inserted safely into the cake using a food safely wax seal and/or a plastic posey pick. These fresh flowers are for decoration only and are not suitable for consumption.
Some cakes in this collection have wired sugar flowers inserted safely into the cake. These wired decorations are non-edible and must be removed before cutting and serving.
Our lovingly hand-decorated and baked-to-order cakes can be delivered to your door in 2-3 full working days. Sometime shorter notice is possible, please contact us to discuss.
COLLECTION
Collections are available free of charge from our London cake studio Tuesdays to Fridays, 10am to 5pm.
DELIVERY
We deliver on Tuesdays to Saturdays. Sunday delivery may be available on request. Please contact us to discuss.
Cakes from our Buttercream Collection can be stored out of the fridge in a cool dry place.
Cakes from our Botanical Collection (featuring fresh flower decorations) should should be stored in the fridge to keep the flowers fresh and removed a couple of hours before consumption to ensure the cake is at an ambient temperature for serving.
Our cakes are best eaten as soon as possible after being cut as the sponge will begin to dry when in contact with the air. Cakes should ideally be consumed within 3 days of delivery.
